Hello,

my Name is Michele.

I´m beginning now to evaluate Docmosis for a customer project.
I was wondering if it's possible to interface Microsoft Access with Docmosis.
I try to explain the problem. I have to implement a System that takes the result of a SQL query (or data that the customer selects) and generates a PDF or Word (with just the data that have been selected by the customer).

Thank you for your help!
Michele

Docmosis with Microsoft Access

Hello Michele.

If you are using Java, you can connect to Access and run a query using normal JDBC code. You can then pass your query ResultSet object to Docmosis with DataProviderBuilder.addSQL() methods.

If you are not using Java, then you will need to write the code in whatever programming language your application is written in, and then call Docmosis separately. Docmosis is always used by an application to create the documents so it doesn't provide ways to connect to databases itself.

I hope that helps.

Feel free to contact mailto:support@docmosis.com too.

Regards,
Paulj.
