Im unable to find a 64bit version of openoffice anywhere for windows, the converters that come with docmosis demand that I have the 64bit version installed, thus I cannot even try docmosis.

64 bit and 32 bit

OpenOffice is only available in a 32 bit version for windows at this time.

This means that you need to use a 32-bit version of Java or a 64-bit version of Java that supports 32-bit mode (eg a "-d32" flag).
This only applies to the part of Docmosis that loads the OpenOffice libraries, which is the "remote converter" if you are using remote converters - so your main application can use a 64-bit JVM if required.
